Got the qualifications, but not the exact match?
No worries! If your qualifications are foreign or local but equivalent to the required ones, you can still apply. However, you’ll need to submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the relevant department’s Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (QEDC) at the interview or when requested. Don’t forget, this is crucial to avoid disqualification.
Experience matters, but so does proof!
If your experience comes from a private firm, you’ll need to present proof at the interview that the company was registered with a relevant authority (SECP, Registrar of Firms, etc.) during your claimed experience period.
Currently employed? Don’t forget the NOC/DPC!
If you’re applying while still employed, ensure you have obtained/applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) approval from your current department. Be prepared to provide this document during the interview (if shortlisted).
Professional Registration? Check!
Some positions might require specific registrations (PEC, PNC, PMDC, PMC, PVMC, etc.). Make sure you have obtained/applied for the necessary registration certificate from the relevant regulatory body on or before the closing date. You’ll need to show it at the interview if shortlisted.
Bring your academic muscle!
Be prepared to present the original mark sheets or degree certificates showing obtained marks or total marks/percentage issued by the issuing authority during the interview. CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) alone won’t suffice.
Trust only the official source!
Remember, the official PPSC website (www.ppsc.gop.pk) is your one-stop shop for authentic information. Don’t rely on any other source to avoid confusion.
Location matters (for some tests)!
If required for your desired position, the Shorthand Test and Typing & Proficiency Test will only be conducted in Lahore.
Changes in the number of posts? No worries!
If the concerned department increases or decreases the number of available positions, no new applications will be accepted.
Ready to apply? Here’s how to pay!
Application fees can only be deposited online using ATMs, mobile banking, internet banking, over-the-counter deposits at 1Link member banks, or through JazzCash, EasyPaisa, U Paisa, and other available micro-finance banks. Details are available on the PPSC website.
Don’t miss out!
The closing date for submitting online applications is September 17, 2024. Mark your calendars!
